Cultivation and Propagation
Ectropothecium gabonense is a small, evergreen fern native to tropical and subtropical regions of South America. It is a hardy plant and can be grown in a variety of soils and climates. It prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade, but can tolerate full sun. Propagation is done by division of the rhizomes or by spores. The spores should be sown on a sterile, moist medium and kept in a warm, humid environment until they germinate.
