Najas halophila (also called Salt-loving Waternymph, among many other common names) is an aquatic plant native to North America, Europe, and Asia. It is found in shallow water, ponds, and lakes. It has long, thin, bright green leaves that are usually arranged in whorls of three around the stem. The flowers are small and white, and are found in the leaf axils.

Cultivation and Propagation

When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and grow them on in the greenhouse for at least their first winter.
