Hernandia papuana (also called Papuan Sea Olive, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Hernandiaceae. It is a large shrub or small tree, growing up to 10 m tall. It is native to the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from New Guinea to the Solomon Islands, and is found in coastal habitats, including mangrove swamps and coral reefs.
