Description

Herbertus norenus (also called Noren's Blazing Star, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant native to the southeastern United States. It has an upright habit and grows to a height of up to 2 feet. Its leaves are linear and lanceolate and its flowers are white to purple in color. It grows in dry, sandy soils in open areas such as prairies, meadows, and savannas.
