Description
Heliconia burleana (also called False Bird of Paradise, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Central and South America. It has long, narrow leaves and colorful bracts that make up its inflorescence. It is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, as well as in disturbed areas.
