Embolanthera glabrescens is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub that can reach up to 3m in height. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Propagation is best done through cuttings taken in spring or summer. Cuttings should be taken from the tip of the stem and should be about 10-15 cm long. Place the cuttings in a rooting medium such as sand, perlite or vermiculite and keep the medium moist. The cuttings should root within 4-6 weeks.
