Description
Sinningia villosa (also called Hairy Sinningia, among many other common names) is a small perennial herbaceous plant native to South America. It is characterized by its succulent, fleshy leaves and its small, white flowers. It is found in tropical rainforests, on rocky outcrops, and in humid, shady areas.
Cultivation and Propagation
Sinningia villosa is a hardy perennial that can be propagated from cuttings. Take a cutting of a stem with at least two sets of leaves and remove the lower leaves. Place the cutting in a pot with moist soil and keep it in a warm, sunny location. The cutting should root in a few weeks. Once the roots have developed, transplant the cutting into a larger pot and water it regularly.
