Description

Gasteranthus tenellus (also called ‘Tender Gasteranthus’, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the family Gesneriaceae. It is a small herbaceous perennial with a woody base, and grows up to 20 cm tall. It is native to Colombia and Ecuador, and is found in wet montane forests and grasslands.
