Gentianopsis thermalis (also called Thermal Gentian, among many other common names) is an herbaceous perennial plant with a basal rosette of leaves and a flowering stem that grows up to 40 cm tall. It is native to North America, from Newfoundland to North Carolina, and is found in wet meadows, bogs, and marshes.
