Description
Anthocleista madagascariensis (also called Madagascar Mahogany, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Gentianaceae family. It is a large shrub or small tree, growing up to 10 m tall. It is native to tropical Africa, from Madagascar east to Ethiopia and south to Angola and Mozambique. It is found in lowland and montane rainforest, and in secondary forest.
