Description
Frullania inflexa (also called Frullaniaceae, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Frullaniaceae family. It is found in South America, in wet and humid habitats such as rainforests, swamps, and wet rocks. It is a small, yellow-green plant with a thallus that is up to 1 cm long and 0.5 cm wide.
Cultivation and Propagation
Frullania inflexa is a small, evergreen, terrestrial liverwort that is native to the Northern Hemisphere. It is a slow-growing species that prefers moist, shaded areas with acidic soil. Propagation is best done by division of the plant or by spore sowing. Spores should be sown on a moist, sterile, acidic potting mix and kept in a cool, shaded area with high humidity.
