Description
Castanopsis indica (also called 'Indian Chestnut', among many other common names) is a large evergreen tree that can reach up to 30 m in height. It has alternate, oblong-lanceolate leaves that are up to 25 cm long and 5 cm wide. It is native to India, and grows in tropical and subtropical forests.
