Castanopsis endertii (also called 'Endert's chestnut oak', among many other common names) is a species of evergreen tree in the Fagaceae family. It is a large tree, typically growing to a height of 20–30 m. It is native to Southeast Asia, from India to southern China, and is found in a variety of habitats, including dry and moist forests, scrub and rocky slopes.
