Description

Zapoteca filipes (also called Filipe's Zapoteca, among many other common names) is a species of flowering tree in the Fabaceae family. It is native to Central America and South America, where it is found in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests. It is a medium-sized tree, growing up to 15 m tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 30 cm.
