Description

Phaseolus filiformis (also called 'Filiformis phaseolus', 'Filiformis phaseolus', 'Filiformis phaseolus' among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the legume family Fabaceae. It is native to Central America and South America. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests, tropical and subtropical moist montane forests, and disturbed areas.
