Description

Neltuma velutina (also called velvet neltuma, among many other common names) is a small shrub native to tropical South America. It grows to a height of up to 1 meter and has a stem diameter of up to 0.5 cm. Its leaves are alternate, simple, and up to 10 cm long. It is found in moist forests, riverine forests, and secondary forests.
