Medicago platycarpos (also called Burclover, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant in the family Fabaceae. It is native to the Mediterranean region, but it is also found in other parts of the world. It has a prostrate growth habit and its leaves are trifoliate. It is commonly found in grasslands, pastures, and disturbed areas.
