Lupinus peruvianus (also called Peruvian Lupine, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the Andes of Peru and Bolivia. It grows in high-altitude grasslands, and is characterized by its blue-green leaves and yellow flowers.

Cultivation and Propagation

Lupinus peruvianus can be propagated by seed or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in early spring in a cold frame. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out in the summer. Cuttings of half-ripe wood, 5 - 8cm with a heel, July/August in a frame. Good percentage.
