Lupinus honoratus (also called Honoratus lupine, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant native to the western United States. It has a basal rosette of leaves and a tall flowering stem that can reach up to 1 meter in height. The flowers are usually blue or purple in color and the fruits are legumes. It is found in dry, open habitats such as grasslands, sagebrush, and chaparral.
