Dalbergia teixeirae (also called Brazilian rosewood, among many other common names) is a species of flowering tree in the pea family Fabaceae. It is native to the Atlantic Forest ecoregion of southeastern Brazil. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests, at altitudes of up to 1,000 meters.
