Description

Acacia philoxera (also called Popal, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree native to Australia. It has a dense, rounded crown and grows up to 6 m tall. Its leaves are bipinnate, with 1-2 pairs of pinnae and 4-8 pairs of leaflets. It grows in open woodlands and grasslands, and is drought and frost tolerant.
