Description

Manihot leptophylla (also called slender-leaved cassava, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Euphorbiaceae family. It is native to South America and is found in tropical and subtropical regions. It is a shrub or small tree, growing to a height of 4–8 m. The leaves are alternate, simple, and entire, 10–20 cm long and 5–10 cm broad.
