Description
Manihot gracilis (also called cassava, Brazilian arrowroot, and tapioca, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Euphorbiaceae family. It is native to South America and is found in tropical and subtropical regions. It is a shrub or small tree, growing to a height of 2–8 m. The leaves are alternate, simple, and entire, 5–20 cm long and 2–9 cm broad.
