Comanthera hatschbachii (also called Hatschbach's Comanthera, among many other common names) is a shrub or small tree that can reach up to 5 meters in height. It has a grey bark and its leaves are alternate, simple, elliptic and entire. It is native to Brazil and found in the Atlantic Forest. It is usually found in humid forests and along the banks of rivers.
