Description

Rhododendron pulcherrimum (also called 'Mountain Rosebay', 'Mountain Rhododendron' and 'Alpenrose', among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub, growing up to 1.5 m tall. It is native to the mountains of Europe and western Asia, and is found in cool, moist habitats. It has leathery leaves and clusters of pink, bell-shaped flowers.
