Description
Psammisia sodiroi (also called Sodiro's snowberry, among many other common names) is a low-growing, evergreen shrub native to the Andes Mountains of South America. It grows in moist, acidic soils and prefers partial shade. Its leaves are small, oval-shaped, and leathery, and its flowers are white or pink. It produces small, white, edible berries.
