Orthaea coriacea (also called Leathery Orthaea, among many other common names) is an evergreen shrub that typically grows to 6-10 feet (2-3 m) tall. It is native to the western United States, from California to British Columbia, and is found in dry, rocky areas, such as chaparral, woodlands, and along roadsides.
