Agapetes velutina (also called Velvet Lantern, among many other common names) is a small evergreen shrub that grows up to 1.5 m tall. It has dark green, velvety leaves and white or pink flowers. It is native to the Himalayas and is found in moist forests and grasslands at altitudes of up to 3,000 m.
