Description

Davallia assamica (also called Assam Rabbit's-Foot Fern, among many other common names) is a fern species in the Davalliaceae family. It is native to the Andes Mountains in South America, and is commonly found in humid montane forests. It has a creeping rhizome and lanceolate fronds that are up to 40 cm long.

Davallia assamica is used as an ornamental plant in gardens and as an indoor houseplant. It can also be used as a groundcover in shady areas.
