Hypolytrum nudicaule (also called Nude-stemmed Frogfruit, among many other common names) is a perennial herb native to Central and South America. It has a creeping rhizome and grows up to 40 cm tall. Its leaves are alternate, simple, and ovate. It is found in wet meadows, marshes, and swamps.
