Description

Hypolytrum latifolium (also called 'Broad-leaved Water-nymph', among many other common names) is an aquatic plant native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It has a creeping habit and grows to a height of 10-30 cm. Its leaves are lanceolate in shape and are green in colour. It produces small white flowers in the summer months. It is found in shallow ponds, marshes, and other wetland habitats.
