Description
Eleocharis pseudoalbibracteata (also called 'Pseudoalbibracteata Spikerush' and 'Tall Spikerush', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Cyperaceae family. It is a herbaceous perennial that typically grows to a height of 15–30 cm. It is native to India, and is found in tropical and subtropical moist forests.
Uses & Benefits
Eleocharis pseudoalbibracteata is used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat fever, headache, and abdominal pain. It is also used as an ornamental plant in gardens.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Eleocharis pseudoalbibracteata has small, white flowers that bloom in the summertime. The seeds are small and black, and the seedlings are thin and have a light green color.
Cultivation and Propagation
