Eleocharis brachycarpa (also called Short-fruited spikerush, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Cyperaceae family. It is native to the United States, and is found in moist, sunny meadows and along streams. It is an annual grass that grows up to 1 meter tall, with thin leaves and small, white flowers.
