Eleocharis atrobrunnea (also called Eleocharis atrobrunnea, among many other common names) is an aquatic plant native to South America. It has a creeping habit and grows up to 30 cm tall. The leaves are linear, lanceolate and up to 15 cm long. It is found in shallow waters, swamps and marshes, at altitudes of up to 1,500 m.
