Cultivation and Propagation

Dudleya orcuttii is a succulent plant native to the coastal mountains of California and Baja California. It is a low-growing, mat-forming perennial with rosettes of spoon-shaped leaves. It can be propagated from cuttings or from seed. To propagate from cuttings, take a cutting from the stem or rosette and allow it to dry for a few days. Then, place the cutting in a pot filled with a well-draining potting mix. Water the cutting regularly and it should root within a few weeks. To propagate from seed, sow the seeds in a well-draining potting mix and keep them moist. The seeds should germinate in a few weeks.

Where to Find Dudleya orcuttii

Dudleya orcuttii can be found in the western United States, primarily in California, Oregon, and Washington.
