Connarus megacarpus (also called Large-fruited Connarus, among many other common names) is a species of plant in the Connaraceae family. It is a shrub or small tree that can reach up to 10 m in height. It is native to the tropical regions of the Americas, from Mexico to Brazil. It is found in tropical rainforests, in the understory of the forest, and in secondary forests.
