Description

Garcinia pungens (also called Pungent Garcinia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Clusiaceae family, native to India. It is a small tree or shrub, growing up to 5 m tall, with leathery leaves and yellow flowers. It is found in tropical moist lowland forests, and is threatened by habitat loss.
