Description

Couepia grandiflora (also called Grandiflorous Couepia, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Chrysobalanaceae family. It is a small tree or shrub that grows up to 8 m tall. It is native to the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It prefers wet, lowland forests and is often found near rivers and streams.
