Celtis crenata (also called Japanese Zelkova, Chinese Zelkova, and Chinese Elm, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the elm family Ulmaceae. It is native to East Asia, from China to Japan. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree that grows in open woodlands and along roadsides. It has small, oval, dark green leaves and small yellow flowers.
