Warburgia stuhlmannii (also called Pepper-Bark Tree, African Pepper Tree, or Red-Stemmed Pepper-Bark Tree, among many other common names) is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to East Africa. It has a straight, round trunk and a dense, spreading crown. Its leaves are glossy green, leathery and lanceolate. Warburgia stuhlmannii is found in dry to moist forests, woodlands and bushlands, and along riverbanks.
