Description
Siphocampylus soraticus (also called Soratic Siphocampylus, among many other common names) is a small, perennial herbaceous plant native to Mexico, Central America, and South America. It has small, oval-shaped leaves and grows in moist, shady areas in tropical and subtropical climates, such as rainforests and cloud forests.

The flower of Siphocampylus soraticus is a yellowish-green color with a white lip. The seed is a small, black, bean-like structure. The seedlings are small, green, and have a single leaf.
Cultivation and Propagation
Siphocampylus soraticus is a terrestrial orchid that can be grown in well-drained soil in a partially shaded area. Propagation is done by division of the rhizomes. The plant can also be propagated from seed, although it is a slow process.
