Description

Stenocactus vaupelianus (also called Vaupel's Stenocactus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to Mexico. It is a globose cactus that can reach up to 30 cm in height, with 12-14 ribs and areoles with yellowish spines. It is found in the tropical dry forest of the Pacific coast of Mexico, in the states of Guerrero, Oaxaca and Michoacán.
