Description

Pereskia rufida (also called Rufous-spined pereskia, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to Mexico and Central America. It is a globose cactus, with a diameter of up to 20 cm, and up to 30 cm tall. It has a woolly apex, and its spines are yellowish-brown in color. It grows in dry and rocky habitats.
