Description
Parodia nigrispina (also called Black-spined Ball Cactus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to the Gran Chaco of South America. It grows up to 10 cm tall with a globose stem and yellow flowers. It grows in dry, rocky habitats and is often found on hillsides.
