Description
Parodia chrysacanthion (also called Notocactus chrysacanthus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to Argentina and Uruguay. It has a globose body, up to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, with 12 to 14 ribs, and yellowish-brown spines. It grows in rocky hills and grasslands.
