Description
Opuntia macrocentra (also called Long-Spined Prickly Pear, among many other common names) is a cactus species native to the United States and Mexico. It is a shrubby cactus that grows up to 1 m tall and has flat, paddle-shaped stems. It is found in dry, rocky habitats at elevations of up to 2,000 m.
