Description
Gymnocalycium quehlianum (also called Quehl's moon cactus, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to South America. It has a globose body, up to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, with 8 to 12 ribs and short spines. It is found in dry, rocky habitats in Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay.
