Gymnocalycium gibbosum (also called Gibbous Gymnocalycium, among many other common names) is a species of cactus native to Argentina. It is a small, globose cactus with a solitary stem, up to 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter, and up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It grows in rocky hillsides and grasslands.
