Echinocereus sanpedroensis (also called San Pedro Hedgehog Cactus, among many other common names) is a small, globose cactus with a single stem that is native to the Chihuahuan Desert in Mexico. It has spines that are yellowish-brown to reddish-brown in color and it grows in rocky areas, such as hillsides and cliffs.
