Description
Echinocereus platyacanthus (also called Texas Rainbow Cactus, among many other common names) is a small, cylindrical cactus native to the Chihuahuan Desert of the United States and Mexico. It is a low-growing plant, with a maximum height of around 10 cm. It has bright pink flowers, and its stems are covered in white spines. It grows in dry, rocky areas, and is adapted to survive in extreme temperatures.
